ABOUT RICK

Rick Crawford has had extensive experience coaching endurance athletes and managing successful elite/pro level cycling programs. He has been immersed in the cycling world professionally since the mid 1970’s and has worked with some of the world’s most recognized cyclists and managers, and is today considered amongst the most reputable coach/managers in the business.

DURANGO PERFORMANCE CENTER

When not directing some of the world’s top athletes, Rick is directing research, designing testing protocols and analyzing data for the Durango Performance Center in Durango, Colorado. Under the direction of cardiologist and exercise physiologist Dr. Bruce Andrea and with coaches like Rick, the Durango Performance Center offers medically supervised, state-of-the-art diagnostics to give athletes and coaches the information they need to achieve their potential.

Tired of trekking all the way to Colorado Springs to use the nearest velodrome, the passionate cyclists of Durango, Colorado, helped by Rick, who donates time and energy to make the project a relity, set out to bring a velodrome to their home town. The result of this passion is the Dryside Velodrome Project, which aims to bring the fun and excitement of track racing to Durango.
